Affiliated Members

Any qualifying group who become regular users of Flackwell Heath Community Centre can subsequently become affiliated members if they fulfil the requirements as set out below. This commitment to our community centre also entails some additional responsibilities in return for reduced room-rental rates as follows:

1. We expect to receive your support in sending a representative to our meetings in order that any decisions may be reported back to your members, which gives your group the opportunity to report any issues, suggest improvements, or even to give compliments!

2. We may also ask for support at such things as our fundraising events, and help with general maintenance of the Centre if we call for a spring clean. These are just some of the ways in which you can help. We are a very small committee and we would really appreciate more support in carrying out the aims and needs of the Centre.

Affiliation requirements (all apply):

1. Your group must be a non-commercial, non-profit organisation.

2. You must first use the Centre regularly and reliably for at least 4 months before you can apply for affiliation.

3. You pay in advance an annual, non-refundable affiliation fee per calendar year (or part thereof); you will be invoiced early in the year.

4. Affiliated room-rates become active starting from the beginning of the invoicing period during which the affiliation fee is paid and the request accepted by FHCA.

5. Invoicing takes place 4-monthly in early/mid (periods shown in parentheses):

a. April (Jan-Apr)
b. August (May-Aug)
c. December (Sep-Dec)
